Rugs, throws & cushions

Our textiles from the Pacha Collection are designed and made to be treasured for many years. Here’s our recommendations below to help you keep your textiles looking their very best…

• To keep your rugs & throws fresh, hoover rugs regularly with care & air them outside when needed.  

• Spot clean any spillages with warm water & a white cloth. 

• Only use natural wool detergents & use sparingly to avoid any discolouration.

• To preserve the natural dye avoid immersing rugs & throws fully in water.  

• Cushions can be hand washed in cold water.

• Textiles can be professionally cleaned when needed.

• If loose threads occur, carefully feed the thread back into the weave. If this isn’t possible, tie a knot close to the textile & cut the excess thread. When cutting a thread please make sure it is not attached or a structural thread as this may lead to further unravelling.

• Keep out of direct sunlight to keep the colours looking bright & vibrant.

• All of our rugs are reversible & we recommend rotating and flipping your rug on a regular basis to prevent wear & indentations from furniture.

• Due to the nature of the products there may be signs of discolouration, blemishes & age; these slight imperfections should be a celebrated part of their story & is what makes them so special.

• Take extra care with alpaca items as this fibre is delicate.

We recommend using an underlay for all of our rugs, especially our thin & medium stitch styles. An underlay reduces slip, prevents wear & the running of dyes onto carpet.   

Glassware

Our glassware from our Cala Collection is made from recycled glass & mouth blown by artisan glass blowers, with each piece having it’s own special distinction.

• Please do not use in microwave or dishwasher to help keep your glassware strong & sparkling for many years.

Ceramics

Our ceramic ParaSol Collection is created with white clay; every item is handmade & hand painted making each piece unique with slight variations.

• Please do not use in microwave or dishwasher to help keep your ceramics intact for many years to come.

• As white clay reacts to changes in temperatures, fine lines may occur over time. This is very common with white clay & adds to their handmade charm.

Wicker goods

Our wicker items in our Desert Collection are hand made using dried reed/ straw. Our bags & lampshades are durable however need to be handled with care to ensure lasting quality & life. We have listed below our recommendations for caring for your wicker items:

• Direct sunlight can cause discolouration.

• Try to avoid getting the wicker severely wet.

• If your wicker item becomes misshapen it can be re-shaped. Use a damp cloth to moisten the wicker, re-shape where necessary & dry naturally.

• Store bags by hanging them up to help maintain their natural shape.
