Our Sustainable Approach

Woven Rosa began with the idea that we wanted to share and create beautiful homewares that can be loved without compromising the plant. This belief is at the core of everything we do; read below about the ways in which we are working towards this.

Handmade Homewares

Our homewares are all handmade and either one-of-a-kind or made in small batches. We work with independent artisans and small workshops, ensuring a positive impact on the local economy.

The materials used are natural and locally sourced. Including Peruvian sheep wool, Peruvian Alpaca fibre, ceramic and recycled glass. The materials used are high quality and premium; with the aim to create pieces that will last, and that are made to be treasured & past down for years to come.

We encourage you to care for your homewares, fixing wear and tears where needed, to ensure a long life. See our quality & care guide here.

Conscious Packaging

Each Woven Rosa order is wrapped in fully recycled and recyclable materials.

We try to use only essential packaging and encourage you to reuse where possible. Our packaging is high quality so perfect to use again to wrap up your next Christmas or Birthday gift.

*The one exception to this is when new homewares arrive already wrapped in bubble wrap, so not to waste, we would then reuse this. We are working really closely with our partners to remove all plastic from packaging and to only use fully recyclable or compostable materials.

Slower Transport

Our homewares arrive in the UK via shipments on boats, we choose this option as although it slower it has lower emission and therefore better environmentally.

Our Future

We are constantly learning and thinking of ways to better our sustainability practice. We are always open to new ideas so please do reach out to us, we always love hearing new suggestions.
